\u201cAnother Simple Favor\u201d director Paul Feig defended Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick after a YouTuber claimed they appeared uncomfortable during a joint appearance at SXSW Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm \u2026 you\u2019re wrong,\u201d Feig replied<\/a> to the YouTuber, named Melanie King, via X afte she claimed<\/a> Lively appeared \u201cterrified\u201d and Kendrick looked \u201cpissed\u201d during the movie\u2019s premiere in Austin, Texas. King also alleged that Kendrick \u201cnever wants to work with [Lively] again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Page Six reached out to both Lively and Kendrick\u2019s reps but did not receive immediate responses.<\/p>\n

Feig\u2019s comment in defense of the \u201cGossip Girl\u201d alum and \u201cPitch Perfect\u201d actress comes after they were both asked about working with each other again, seven years after the first movie \u2014 \u201cA Simple Favor\u201d \u2014 was released.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnna, what does it mean to be working with Blake again?\u201d a\u00a0reporter from \u201cEntertainment Tonight\u201d\u00a0asked Kendrick, to which she replied<\/a>, \u201cOh, you know\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

In a separate video shared by \u201cEntertainment Tonight,\u201d<\/a> Lively was asked the same question, and she had nothing but good things to say about their onscreen reunion.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, it\u2019s the best!\u201d the \u201cAge of Adaline\u201d star gushed while arriving to the SXSW red carpet. \u201cI\u2019m so happy to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lively, 37, wore a strapless Ren\u00e9e Masoomian latex dress<\/a> which featured black accents.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kendrick, 39, wore a black LaQuan Smith pantsuit that included a plunging corset.<\/p>\n

While inside the theater for the film\u2019s first look, Kendrick sat in the row directly in front of Lively.<\/p>\n

Their reunion for the \u201cAnother Simple Favor\u201d premiere comes more than two months after Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit<\/a> against her \u201cIt Ends with Us\u201d director, Justin Baldoni.<\/p>\n
