Popular YouTuber Alysha Burney died while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico<\/a>, one day before her 25th birthday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She died after suffering an\u00a0asthma attack while she was asleep, according to her brother, Charles Burney.<\/p>\n

Following online speculation about how she died, he told FOX4 <\/a>that she did ‘not do drugs’ and was a ‘self-loving and happy individual who cherished her life and was looking forward to the upcoming year\u2019s plans.’<\/p>\n

‘She was in Mexico to celebrate her birthday. She was a very classy young woman,’ he said. ‘There\u2019s a spread of misinformation online, stating different things based on speculation. These sources lack credibility and should not be believed. My sister did not engage in environments that would lead to such situations.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Charles also praised his sister for never being ‘selfish with her knowledge’ and living life as a ‘very open book.’<\/p>\n

‘Alysha was very goal-oriented, creative, and passionate about giving back. She graduated with a Bachelor\u2019s of Science in Digital Media Production and was working towards her graduate degree,’ he noted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her brother first confirmed the tragic news via Instagram on Monday.<\/p>\n

‘I come with great sadness that my little sister Alysha Burney has passed. PLEASE allow our family time to grieve during this time. It is extremely difficult seeing all of the false narratives trying to defame her legacy and we are ready to take legal action for those continuing to spread false information regarding her passing,’ he wrote on Instagram.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

After acknowledging that ‘so many people’ cared so deeply for his younger sister, Charles, asked respectfully for her fans to ‘stop harassing’ his family, at this time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘[We] will share more information soon but just give us some time,’ he concluded. ‘Her legacy will still live on FOREVER!!’<\/p>\n

Burneym, who had more than 2 million TikTok<\/a> Followers and 1 million subscribers on YouTube<\/a>, was best known for her Bad Girls Club parody series.<\/p>\n

A number of the late content creator’s friends shared heartfelt tributes in the wake of her death, including her close pal Jay Lanai.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In her post, she wrote that\u00a0Alysha was the ‘most genuine, sweet, beautiful and humble human’ she had ‘ever come across.’<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019m so happy I was able to embrace you & tell you how much I loved and missed you, seeing you over Christmas break,’ she captioned a photo of them on Instagram, obtained by\u00a0Hollywood Life<\/a>.\u00a0‘Life is unexpected. Rest beautifully Alysha, you\u2019ll be missed so much.’<\/p>\n

Additionally, Lanai shared a black and white photo with\u00a0Burney that showed them standing cheek to cheek and smiling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alysha was also remembered by her pal,\u00a0Niko, who expressed her heartbreak in an emotional Instagram post.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I should never have to write a post like this. I still don\u2019t have the words,’ he began. ‘It hurts me to not be able to talk to you, and I just want your advice! You\u2019re my family, and your family made me feel like family. You\u2019re my best friend on this planet, and I\u2019ll always remember and defend your name.’<\/p>\n

He also thanked Alysha for the countless memories they shared, always being there for him during his toughest times and loving him ‘unconditionally.’<\/p>\n

‘I know you\u2019d always want me and everyone to be happy and continue grinding. You\u2019re with God now, and I know you\u2019re making him laugh,’\u00a0Niko concluded.<\/p>\n

Another friend, who goes by the name\u00a0J Money on Instagram, shared that he was at a loss for words over her death as he slammed people spreading ‘false narratives’ about how she died.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘We learned a lot from each other [and] I met a lot of great ppl [though] her [that] I\u2019ll never forget,’ he recalled.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alysha’s friend, Vikki, reposted\u00a0Charles’ post on her Instagram Story, along with a message about ‘we have to start treating people with more respect.’<\/p>\n

‘Just because a person has a following doesn’t mean their entire being is a stunt for the internet,’ she wrote. ‘We have to start treating people with more respect. No family should have to experience what her family has just endured over the last week with harassing comments, posts, & conspiracy theories.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jay Nedaj admitted the loss still doesn’t ‘feel real’ as he revealed they spoke everyday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I will never be the same without you here. You\u2019ve touched & inspired so many people including me. You were such a talent. A force to be reckoned with. My baby. You were always so encouraging,’ he wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n

He went on to call her his ‘soulmate’ and praised how she ‘never judged’ him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Now I\u2019m realizing that I will never get to speak to or see you again. & I\u2019m so fucked up over that. I just wanted to hear you tell me that you love me one more time.. I love you so much,’ he wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Naomi Christina said that she learned of the news on Monday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Alysha, I’m struggling to even let out all of my tears right now because of the fact you’re gone. You were full of enthusiasm, joy, ambition, and laughs. I know we were only friends for a brief amount of time, but even then, you made me feel like I can be myself around you, share laughs with you, and just simply vibe with the amazingly beautiful aura you had,’ she wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Christina, who worked with Alysha on the short film Lost Angeles, went on to write: ‘I will never forget the positive impact you had on me. Rest in paradise.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Underneath\u00a0Alysha’s brother\u00a0Charles’s post, fans shared their\u00a0condolences.\u00a0<\/p>\n
