Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi expressed gratitude to God after making his comeback at Nice following a 243-day injury layoff, Soccernet.ng<\/a> reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Moffi played competitive football for the first time since July 2024 on Saturday in Nice\u2019s 2-1 loss to Monaco at the Stade Louis II.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles striker suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during pre-season camp last year and had to undergo surgery, which kept him out of action until last Saturday.<\/p>\n

Moffi was introduced into the game in the 82nd minute when Nice were desperate to score an equalizer. Unfortunately, he could not help his side as they succumbed to a loss.<\/p>\n

But hours after the fixture, Moffi took to social media to thank God after the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can only say thank you Lord Jesus for everything. See you guys next week,\u201d Moffi wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Next up for Moffi and Nice is a fixture against Nantes at Allianz Riviera. Moffi will be looking to continue his comeback and possibly score a goal.<\/p>\n

Soccer Moffi still has to wait a while<\/h2>\n

Despite playing against Monaco, Moffi may still have to wait a while before he begins starting games at Nice.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles star is very prolific, but Les Aiglons would be careful with how they use him in order to prevent a relapse.<\/p>\n

Moffi may have to wait until next season before he becomes a starter for Nice. The club have done well this season, and they don\u2019t need him badly this season.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
