A third Oklahoma player is reportedly headed for the transfer portal.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Forward Jacolb Fredson-Cole<\/strong> has submitted his name to the portal, per Verbal Commits.<\/p>\n Rated a 4-star recruit by Rivals and ESPN and a 3-star prospect by 247Sports, Fredson-Cole was forced to redshirt during his freshman season in 2023-2024 due to an injury.\u00a0<\/p>\n Oklahoma F Jacolb Fredson-Cole has entered the transfer portal. https:\/\/t.co\/1UhHlBUapI<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Verbal Commits (@VerbalCommits) March 25, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n This past year, the 6-foot-7, 220-pound Bellaire, TX, product never found his way into Porter Moser\u2019s<\/strong> rotation.\u00a0<\/p>\n He totaled 69 minutes across 15 games for the Sooners.\u00a0<\/p>\n Fredson-Cole took 11 shot attempts from the floor, knocking down three, and he pulled down 12 rebounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n Only 16 of his minutes played this season came in SEC play.\u00a0<\/p>\n Fredson-Cole joins big man Luke Northweather<\/strong> and center Yaya Keita<\/strong> as members of Moser\u2019s program who are reportedly headed to the transfer portal.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n Though the trio aren\u2019t a big blow, OU will again have to reform its roster through the transfer portal.\u00a0<\/p>\n Forward Jalon Moore <\/strong>and center Sam Godwin<\/strong> are both out of eligibility, as is Glenn Taylor Jr.<\/strong>, Kobe Elvis <\/strong>and Brycen Goodine<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Freshman star Jeremiah Fears<\/strong> is expected to head to the NBA Draft, too, as he is projected as a potentially lottery pick.\u00a0<\/p>\n Veteran guard Duke Miles <\/strong>could return next year if he obtains a medical waiver, and guard Dayton Forsythe<\/strong> is also expected to return for his sophomore season.\u00a0<\/p>\n Center Mohamed Wague<\/strong> could return next season as well, thanks to the new NCAA junior college waivers.<\/p>\n Freshman Kuol Atak <\/strong>redshirted this past season, and Moser signed forwards Kai Rogers<\/strong> and Andreas Holst<\/strong> and guard Alec Blair<\/strong>, who will all be freshmen next season.\u00a0<\/p>\n Moser and his staff have already been working the portal to add to the roster in effort to build off the 2025 NCAA Tournament appearance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
