Alt season happened once or twice in the past, but that doesn\u2019t mean that it will continue to be an event.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-eio=\"l\" data-old-src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.cryptonews.com.au\/2025\/03\/05140115\/Jeff-Dorman-chief-investment-officer-at-Arca.jpg\">        Jeff Dorman, chief investment officer at Arca    <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h-analysts-agree-etf-a-gamechanger-for-crypto\">Analysts Agree: ETF a Gamechanger for Crypto<\/h2>\n<p>Echoing this, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptonews.com.au\/news\/altseason-cancelled-cryptoquant-ceo-says-most-wont-make-it-126510\/\"> said<\/a> that while altseason might still be a thing, it would be different than it had been in the past.<\/p>\n<p>In a post on social platform X, the analyst said that \u201cthe era of everything pumping is over\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As per his analysis, the likely winners for 2025 are those altcoins with a looming ETF approval, projects that can generate income and those that are \u201csustainable attention drivers\u201d \u2013 the rest \u201cwon\u2019t make it\u201d, Ju added.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <em>Bloomberg<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-03-04\/crypto-alt-season-may-disappear-for-good-amid-marketwide-slump?srnd=phx-crypto\"> report<\/a>, Cosmo Jiang, general partner at Pantera Capital, said that the ETFs have created a barrier between Bitcoin and other digital assets. He also said that most of crypto is still not easily accessible to traditional brokerage accounts \u201cand the more that happens, the more it builds on itself, because these are momentum assets\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-altseason-is-brewing-says-crypto-trader\">\u201cAltseason is Brewing\u201d, Says Crypto Trader<\/h2>\n<p>Not everyone shares the negative sentiment though.
