Netflix has officially confirmed the production of its upcoming series \u201cWish Your Death\u201d (working title)!<\/p>\n

On March 6, Netflix announced that Jeon So Young, Kang Mina<\/a>, Baek Sun Ho<\/a>, Hyun Woo Seok, and Lee Hyo Je will star in its upcoming horror series \u201cWish Your Death.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWish Your Death\u201d follows a group of high school students who receive a chilling death notice after using \u201cGirigo,\u201d an app that grants any wish uploaded as a video. As they scramble to escape the app\u2019s deadly curse, they uncover its sinister truth.<\/p>\n

The story centers around five high school friends who discover that the mysterious app Girigo is linked to their friend\u2019s sudden and mysterious death. As they dig deeper, the shocking truth behind Girigo begins to surface, pulling them into an inescapable nightmare.<\/p>\n

Notably, \u201cWish Your Death\u201d marks Netflix\u2019s first foray into the Young Adult Horror genre. Helming the series is director Park Yoon Seo, who has built a solid reputation through his work on \u201cKingdom Season 2,\u201d \u201cThe Admiral: Roaring Currents,\u201d and the hit drama \u201cMoving.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeon So Young plays Sae Ah, a promising track athlete at Seorin High School who will stop at nothing to protect her friends and expose the app\u2019s dark secrets.<\/p>\n

Kang Mina portrays Na Ri, a popular student with idol-like visuals who dismisses Sae Ah\u2019s warnings about the app\u2019s deadly curse.<\/p>\n

Baek Sun Ho takes on the role of Geon Woo, Sae Ah\u2019s secret boyfriend who finds himself unsettled by her growing obsession with the app.<\/p>\n

Hyun Woo Seok plays Ha Joon, the brain of the group and a coding enthusiast who attempts to analyze the app\u2019s mysteries through a technical lens.<\/p>\n

Lastly, Lee Hyo Je stars as Hyung Wook, a fun-loving jokester whose life spirals into chaos after his wish on Girigo unexpectedly comes true.<\/p>\n
