That was in Trump\u2019s executive order shortly after he was inaugurated. It\u2019s one of the items on Treasury\u2019s agenda,\u201d Horsley said. \u201cAnd then Senator Lummis is working on a bill around that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s actually having a gathering on March 11 where a bunch of, myself, and a number of other CEOs will be in DC to discuss the initiative,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/NcJL3obCtkw?t=129\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">added<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Horsley also noted growing Bitcoin adoption across nations, pointing to the recent Bitcoin purchase made by Mubadala Investment Company. According to its latest SEC disclosure, Abu Dhabi\u2019s sovereign wealth fund <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptobriefing.com\/abu-dhabi-sovereign-bitcoin-etf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\">invested approximately $437 million<\/a> in BlackRock\u2019s Bitcoin ETF, the iShares Bitcoin Trust.<\/p>\n<p>According to Bitwise\u2019s co-founder, around 11 countries now have some level of Bitcoin exposure. This fact reinforces the legitimacy of Bitcoin as a strategic asset.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBelieve it or not, it\u2019s very real,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Bitcoins Bitcoin is on sale<\/h2>\n<p>Bitcoin has experienced fluctuations in recent weeks amid macroeconomic uncertainty. On Thursday, BTC <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptobriefing.com\/bitcoin-market-correction-pre-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\">dropped below $80,000<\/a> for the first time since November.<\/p>\n<p>Discussing Bitcoin\u2019s price volatility, Horsley said it\u2019s a well-known characteristic of the digital asset, yet it still surprises people.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that historically, the first quarter has been the best time for investors to enter the Bitcoin market, a trend that Bitwise has observed among its clients.<\/p>\n<p>Horsley also predicted that more traditional investors, including wealth managers, asset managers, and banks, would engage with Bitwise\u2019s Bitcoin ETF and the broader asset class during this period of price fluctuations.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI think price is always a story in this space. If you remember back to when the Bitcoin ETF launched, it went from $46,000 to $39,000 and people said, OK, maybe it was a buy the rumor, sell the news story,\u201d Horsley said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAnd then it worked its way back up to where it was more recently. So I think\u2026there\u2019s never been a better time for this asset class,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Bitcoins Regulation as a key factor<\/h2>\n<p>While acknowledging the prominence of price, Horsley sees regulation as the most prominent story in the Bitcoin market at this point.<\/p>\n<p><html><body><\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-banner mrec-in-article\"><\/div>\n<p><\/body><\/html><\/p>\n<p>The regulatory environment for digital assets has shifted positively, as evidenced by the SEC\u2019s recent dismissals of enforcement cases against <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptobriefing.com\/sec-dismisses-coinbase-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\">Coinbase<\/a> and Uniswap, Horsley emphasized. He described this moment as remarkable.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI think the story right now is regulation. It\u2019s the most obvious thing. It\u2019s a sea change since the inauguration.
