It said his household contacts so far have no symptoms and there was no flu outbreak at his school. <\/p>\n<p>\nThe second involves a 12-year-old boy with an underlying illness. He lives in a school dormitory and seven other students from the same school recently had upper respiratory symptoms. <\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;The above-mentioned two boys had no travel history during the incubation period. An initial investigation revealed that they did not receive 2024\/25 SIV [seasonal influenza vaccine],&#8221; a spokesman for the CHP said.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe third case is an eight-year-old boy with good past health. He was diagnosed with flu and another serious infection.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe centre says this brings to eight the number of severe flu cases in children, since the flu season began this month.
