The Atlanta graduated from high school early and enrolled at Georgia Southern. He was an offensive lineman, who was super talented. \u00a0<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>Georgia Southern released this statement from head coach Clay Helton:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and teammate Tay McKibbins,\u201d head coach Clay Helton wrote. \u201cTay lost his battle with cancer this morning and our thoughts and prayers are with his family in Atlanta. He was taken away from us far too young, but his memory will always be etched on our hearts. He is forever an eagle. Love you, Tay!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Eagles\u00a0began Spring Ball on Tuesday, and they will continue with closed practices on Friday and Saturday as the team mourns the loss of McKibbins.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Person\" itemscope itemprop=\"author\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nfldraftdiamonds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/NFL-Draft-Diaminds_Hula-Bowl.png\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" alt itemprop=\"image\"><\/p>\n<div itemprop=\"description\">\n<p>NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport.
