What are your favorite moments from your football life?<\/strong><\/p>\nThis last playoff run in 2024 after experiencing every type of turnout of a season at the division two level, finally getting to the championship game was a good feeling.<\/p>\n
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?<\/strong><\/p>\nFirst of all excited to learn and see what this process is and then just get onto a team and see how a team operates and eventually show my talents on the field.<\/p>\n
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nBlake Bortles, Jacksonville duval legend, just from what I\u2019ve seen he\u2019d be a really mellow guy to hang out with.<\/p>\n
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy grandfather, he inspires me with how he treats everyone with compassion and even going through health issues recently and still loves everyone he interacts with.<\/p>\n
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nAir raid, I grew up around the air raid and as a quarterback you want to air it out and no quarterback wants to run the ball.<\/p>\n
What should we know about Sammy Edwards the person?<\/strong><\/p>\nI\u2019m a competitor at heart and I have a fiery personality as a quarterback and I think having an edge is important especially at the sport I play.<\/p>\n
What stands out about your film the most?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy ability to move through my progression and ability to pick up on cues and reads and I just have a baller mentality to go out there and do whatever it takes.<\/p>\n
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?<\/strong><\/p>\nTake them head on, adversity is important and through faith and the Lord and family you just have to go through them and not around them.<\/p>\n
What would a team get in a player like you?<\/strong><\/p>\nA guy who is going to buy in and make their team and building better regardless of status and provide to make everyone in the building better.<\/p>\n
What do you love the most about the game of football?<\/strong><\/p>\nThe competitive nature and the edge and mindset of being the best has kept me going these last couple of years.<\/p>\n
Who is the most underrated player you\u2019ve played with and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nJordan Billups, a safety for us these past couple years, he\u2019s not taller than 5\u2019 9\u201d- 5\u2019 10\u201d and how he earned his job back every semester speaks volumes of his character.<\/p>\n
