San Diego FC<\/a>‘s debut MLS season reached another milestone on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n A week after beating defending MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy<\/a>, 2-0<\/a>, in their first-ever game, the league’s newest club played in front of a historic number of fans for their inaugural home match at Snapdragon Stadium against St. Louis CITY SC<\/a>.<\/p>\n The recorded attendance of 34,506<\/strong> goes down as the largest crowd for a sporting event in Snapdragon history.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Celebrity co-owners Issa Rae and Manny Machado were among those in attendance to witness the monumental occasion between Major League Soccer’s two most recent expansion sides.<\/p>\n Unfortunately for the hosts, the party atmosphere took a far less festive turn in the 31st minute when star Designated Player Chucky Lozano<\/a> left the game with an apparent injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n Neither side found the breakthrough as the game ended in a 0-0 draw<\/a> that keeps San Diego undefeated. They’ll visit Real Salt Lake<\/a> on March 8 (9:30 pm ET | MLS Season Pass<\/a>) before seeking a first home win in Matchday 4 against the Columbus Crew<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
