I’ve also played for 4 different head coaches and coaching staffs allowing me to learn how to adjust to different schemes and playbooks. I’ve also been through a lot of adversity which has enhanced my mental toughness and I’ve always had a great deal of confidence.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I’ve never been a highly recruited prospect, everything I’ve gotten I’ve earned. I love success but I love the process just as much.

Who was your role model?

Kobe Bryant, he is the epitome of hard work and dedication. He’s the reason I wore #24 during my time at UMass Amherst.

Who is your favorite NFL team?

Denver Broncos

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

At FAMU I’d say Corey Collier. He’s got a natural feel for the game and he’s a playmaker.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Fake energy. Guys on the field can tell when a player or coach’s energy is fixed or genuine.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

My 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Noon.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

In my 1st game of my high school senior season I tore my ACL and it was extremely frustrating because not only did I get injured but I had gotten injured at a time where everything was going well. I had a good junior season and a good summer as well which helped put me on the spectrum and tearing my ACL just kind of shut all of that down. All of the schools that were talking to me disappeared on me and I watched everything I worked for go down the drain. I was an inner city kid from Worcester, MA, I didn’t have a bunch of contacts and connections that could get me offers so finding my way onto a division 1 roster almost seemed nearly impossible at the time, but I made it happen God willingly.

If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?

Chick-Fil-A.

What is your favorite snack food?

Mac and Cheese.

What is your degree in?

Communications

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Kobe Bryant, Alicia Keys, and Peyton Manning. Kobe Bryant was my hero growing up. The way he treated the game of basketball as well as how he carried himself had a huge influence on me as an athlete and as a man. I’ve always loved Alicia Keys’ music and as a kid I always had a big crush on her. Peyton Manning is my favorite football player ever and I’d love the chance to pick his brain and gather some of his football knowledge.

What is your biggest weakness?

Honestly I don’t think I have a biggest weakness, I think there are somethings that I can definitely improve in though.

NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport.
