Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Schultz detailed how Gronk confirmed to him that the rumors were false and he was, in fact, not returning to the National Football League next season.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the week, reports began emerging that Gronkowski was seriously considering coming out of retirement and making a return to an NFL franchise. No football,\u2019\u201d the post stated.<\/p>\n<h3>Rob Gronkowski\u2019s Legendary NFL Career<\/h3>\n<p>While some fans unquestionably want to see Gronk return to the NFL, it is uncertain how productive he would be at 36 years old when the season begins, having also not played in the league since the 2021 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Gronkowski is widely regarded as one of the greatest tight ends in National Football League history.
