LOVE Island’s Scott Thomas emotionally announced his villa exit tonight, sending his co-stars into tears.<\/p>\n

During Sunday night\u2019s All Stars<\/a>, Scott<\/a>, 36, revealed he was leaving the show after struggling to form a genuine connection with Tina Stinnes<\/a>, 29, and previously-dumped India Reynolds<\/a>, 34.<\/p>\n

His departure followed a tense argument with Elma Pazar<\/a> and Tina, after which he decided the experience “wasn\u2019t for him”.<\/p>\n

Scott first broke the news to Luca Bish<\/a> at the fire pit, telling him, “I just wanted to let you know first.<\/p>\n

“I can’t force connections, and I feel like I’ve come here and done everything I wanted to do. I just have to be true to myself.”<\/p>\n

Gathering the rest of the islanders, he made an emotional farewell speech, saying, “I don’t want this to be sad, guys, because I’ve had the best time ever, but I’ve made the decision to leave.<\/p>\n

“I’ve had the best time ever. Every single one of you is amazing.”<\/p>\n

Having first appeared on series two of Love Island<\/a>, Scott had been coupled up with Tina, 29.<\/p>\n

However, after doubts crept in about their relationship, he ultimately decided to call it off.<\/p>\n

His decision to cool things off led to a fiery clash with Elma, who told him he should “leave the villa” and “go” since “nothing was here for him”.<\/p>\n

Scott\u2019s decision left his fellow Islanders teary-eyed<\/a> after he grew close to a number of the lads especially.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A source previously told The Sun<\/a>: \u201cSince it first came to light Scott wasn\u2019t feeling it with Tina on Vegas night, he\u2019s struggled to feel free within the situation and push past his doubts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOn tonight’s show viewers will see him continue to work through his concerns about their connection before the Islanders are then plunged into a recoupling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cScott was unable to get past the feeling Tina wasn\u2019t right for him and his biggest priority was not wasting her precious time in the villa.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe knows this is a big opportunity for her in love and life and would never want to ruin that.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter taking some time out with the dedicated Love Island<\/span> welfare team, Scott decided that the best thing he could do for himself was to remove himself from the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s done so much work over recent years on self-love and he didn\u2019t want to force a connection for the sake of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
