Of his four children<\/a>, North West is arguably Ye\u2019s most musically gifted. On Tuesday (Jan. 21), the Chicago multi-hyphenate penned a heartfelt letter to his eldest along with an update on her highly anticipated debut \u2014 still tentatively titled Elementary School Dropout<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis little girl made me love music again. She asked me to make beats for her. I got back on the ASR. Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beat with my bare hands for BULLY<\/em>,\u201d Ye captioned a black-and-white photo of North. In a separate post, he shared a video of the 11-year-old chopping beats on the Ensoniq ASR-10.<\/p>\n

In 2024, fans got their first taste of the father-daughter duo with \u201cTALKING,\u201d which debuted at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, making North one of the youngest artists to achieve such a feat. By March of that year, she announced Elementary School Dropout<\/a><\/em> \u2014 a play on Ye\u2019s 2004 LP, The College Dropout<\/em> \u2014 at a listening experience for VULTURES 2<\/em> in Phoenix, Arizona.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the second installment in Ye and Ty Dolla Sign\u2019s collaborative series, North lent her vocals to the project\u2019s \u201cBOMB<\/a>\u201d with Chicago West. The Yeezy founder\u2019s daughters later appeared in the track\u2019s AI music video alongside Yuno Miles.<\/p>\n

Even though, Elementary School Dropout<\/em> does not have a release date, Justin Laboy previously told TMZ<\/a> that Ye was putting \u201call chips in on her \u2014 [the] production [and] the best engineers.\u201d He went on to say, \u201cI think she\u2019s got it. Plus, she just naturally loves it. It\u2019s like genetics or something. She\u2019s doing 10 freestyles a day. She got her friends on the record. She\u2019s putting the songs together.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for BULLY<\/em>, Ye revealed the cover<\/a>, shot by Japanese photographer Daid\u014d Moriyama, in October 2024. Though not confirmed, songs like \u201cBEAUTY AND THE BEAST\u201d and \u201cPREACHER MAN\u201d were also teased around the same time.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
