football player<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\nI remember when I was 7 years old I wanted to start getting into sports. Football gave me structure, a purpose, and a way to express my passion for the sport. I just grew up watching the greats on TV and that\u2019s when I knew I want to become a football player.<\/p>\n
What are your favorite moments from your football life?<\/strong><\/p>\nI remember winning back-to-back little league championships, my senior year in high school I returned a 90-yard old pick-six and my first-ever career college start.<\/p>\n
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?<\/strong><\/p>\nI just want to continue to become great, keep improving on my game and also live my dream of playing pro football.<\/p>\n
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nDeion Sanders, he\u2019s the GOAT of DBs so I always watched his highlights and want to learn from him.<\/p>\n
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy grandma, because she was my favorite person I can talk to when I\u2019m dealing with something and she raised me to be a disciplined person.<\/p>\n
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nPlaying the 4-2-5 defense is what I like. I thrive in systems where I can be physical, disrupt plays, and use my instincts to make an impact. I also pride on my versatility and ability to adapt to different schemes. I like to play man coverage and I believe that is one of my strengths as a DB.<\/p>\n
What should we know about Jamon Williams the person?<\/strong><\/p>\nJamon Williams is someone who values hard work, discipline, and loyalty. I hold myself to a high standard, both on and off the field.<\/p>\n
What stands out about your film the most?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy physicality, my athleticism, and my explosiveness. With me being 5\u2019 10\u201d as a cornerback, I like play with relentless motor with me being a speedy player.<\/p>\n
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?<\/strong><\/p>\nIt helps me grow more and more as a person in life, I handle them by just taking the coaching and apply it to real life.<\/p>\n
What would a team get in a player like you?<\/strong><\/p>\nThey\u2019re getting a disciplined player like me, who\u2019s going to be ready to work, a competitor, and a good work ethic. I\u2019m coachable, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve. Whether it\u2019s on the field, in the locker room, or in the film room, I bring a winning mentality.<\/p>\n
What do you love the most about the game of football?<\/strong><\/p>\nI love just having fun on the field, it\u2019s an escape from my life and I like being around teammates that want to win.<\/p>\n
Who is the most underrated player you\u2019ve played with and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nBucky Irving in high school, he\u2019s one of the best players overall I played with, he was great as player and leader in high school.<\/p>\n
