{"id":827850,"date":"2025-02-18T08:11:49","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T14:11:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/18\/berkshire-council-unveils-850m-framework\/"},"modified":"2025-02-18T08:11:49","modified_gmt":"2025-02-18T14:11:49","slug":"berkshire-council-unveils-850m-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/18\/berkshire-council-unveils-850m-framework\/","title":{"rendered":"Berkshire council unveils \u00a3850m framework\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"wrapper_sleeve\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"620\" height=\"414\" src=\"https:\/\/emap-romulus-prod.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2024\/06\/Carnival-Place-Wokingham.png\"   alt=\"Carnival-Place-Wokingham.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Wokingham Borough Council&#8217;s Carnival Place scheme<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span>Wokingham Borough Council has put contractors on notice as it prepares to assemble an \u00a3850m construction procurement framework.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In a<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.find-tender.service.gov.uk\/Notice\/004810-2025?origin=SearchResults&#038;p=1\"> <span>prior-information notice published last week<\/span><\/a><span>, the Berkshire local authority said it was \u201cseeking to engage with external organisations to gauge the level of market interest in the formation of a framework for the provision of a variety of construction works in lots which will run for up to four years\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The council said it planned to carve the framework into 10 lots including specialist areas and main construction works.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Lots one to three cover main construction works with respective project values of \u00a3180k to \u00a31.5m; \u00a31.5m to \u00a33.5m; and \u00a33.5m to \u00a310m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The seven other lots relate to roofing work; electrical work; mechanical work; asbestos removal; renewable technology installation;
