The offensive line overcame a lot of adversity on Sunday, before and during the NFC Championship<\/a> Game, with Cam Jurgens and Landon Dickerson both playing though injuries to help achieve their goal.<\/p>\n

Jurgens was a game-time decision<\/a>, and while he was listed as active<\/a>, he didn\u2019t start after evaluating his back injury during warm-ups. The center got emotional post-game talking about making that decision to sit, calling it the best move for the team, but then still having to play after Dickerson got injured<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jurgens wouldn\u2019t note exactly when he suffered the back injury that kept him limited at best all week at practice, but gave credit to Dickerson for putting them in a good position before he ultimately had to come off the field. The left guard turned center suffered a knee injury in the first half, and while Dickerson played through it until halftime, it was obvious that he was in a lot of pain.<\/p>\n

When asked how he\u2019s feeling after playing the second half, Jurgens coyly replied, \u201cI feel like I\u2019m going to the Super Bowl<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

At least the guys will have an extra week to get their bodies ready for what will be a chance of a lifetime.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
