Luckily a\u00a0kind person behind me\u00a0offered to\u00a0pay for my\u00a0visa and\u00a0I was able to\u00a0get into contact with a\u00a0family member to\u00a0help check on\u00a0my\u00a0cards and activate them. I\u00a0could have just checked in\u00a0on\u00a0my\u00a0phone while waiting, but didn\u2019t realize it\u00a0would be\u00a0an\u00a0issue. People passing by\u00a0kept staring at\u00a0me. Then a\u00a0scary-looking man approached me\u00a0and offered me\u00a0a\u00a0place to\u00a0stay. Thinking things couldn\u2019t get any worse, I\u00a0agreed. But when we\u00a0arrived at\u00a0his home, I\u00a0was shocked to\u00a0see his wife waiting for\u00a0us. She had prepared me\u00a0a\u00a0warm meal and told me\u00a0everything would be\u00a0okay. I\u00a0felt like crying. The old couple asked me\u00a0to\u00a0sleep in\u00a0the spare room they had. It\u00a0was cozy and homely. Next day, the man helped me\u00a0get to\u00a0Western Union, where my\u00a0dad had sent the money.
