The platform said it\u2019s moving its tokens to other <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fullycrypto.com\/why-is-storing-bitcoin-so-important-and-how-to-do-it\"><span>wallet<\/span><\/a><span>s and \u201creallocating assets for ordinary business purposes,\u201d adding that the actions are meant to improve the security of the tokens and boost its treasury\u2019s efficiency. World Liberty Financial was responding to claims by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blockworks.co\/news\/trump-backed-project-token-swaps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span>Blockworks<\/span><\/a><span> that it wants to swap its tokens with those of other crypto projects, which may help it venture deeper into the crypto world through collaborations.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span>Tokens Moved To Pay for \u201cFees and Expenses\u201d<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span>According to Blockworks, the DeFi platform was preparing to offload $10 million of its token and use the funds to buy other virtual currencies. The platform already holds $373 million worth of various cryptocurrencies like ETH, WBTC, USDC, AAVE, and UNI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In an X post, the DeFi protocol said that part of the funds moved went into paying \u201cfees [\u2026] expenses and to address working capital requirements.\u201d World Liberty Financial cautioned the DeFi community against speculating noting that its actions are part of managing WLFI\u2019s operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">We\u2019re making routine movements of our crypto holdings as part of regular treasury management, and payment of fees and expenses and to address working capital requirements. It revealed it increased the amount of WLFI sold by 5% \u201cdue to massive demand.\u201d Tron\u2019s Justin Sun is the largest WLFI buyer. The Trump family has in the past <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fullycrypto.com\/trump-family-to-keep-up-to-75-of-world-liberty-financial-revenue\"><span>disclosed<\/span><\/a><span> that it will keep 75% of the project\u2019s revenue\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">We\u2019ve completed our mission and sold 20% of our token supply!
