Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developers Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software’ released the PC version of M<\/em>arvel’s Spider-Man 2\u00a0<\/em>on January 30 on Steam<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Epic Games Store<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The game reached a peak of 24,209 concurrent players<\/a> on its launch day and ended up hitting 28,189 concurrent players in its first weekend, according to SteamDB<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is enough to make it the 9th highest PlayStation published<\/a> game on Steam in terms of peak concurrent players.<\/span><\/p>\n

The game currently has a “Mixed” rating on Steam<\/a> with over 5,000 total reviews. The game had reports of poor performance and crashes, and the developers ended up releasing a hotfix update<\/a> that addresses some of the crashes while playing with ray-tracing enabled.<\/span><\/p>\n
