Legendary Harlem<\/a> collective The Diplomats<\/a> (aka Dipset<\/a>) have left an indelible mark on Hip-Hop. With their influence reaching coast-to-coast and globally, the crew led by Killa Cam and composed of Juelz Santana<\/a>, Jim Jones<\/a>, Freekey Zekey, and several other uptown associates is considered one of the most imitated in the game. From how they spit to the drip, many a rapper, athlete and influencer will cite the crew as one of the most important when it comes to setting the trends.<\/p>\n

As with most groups, however, there was a period of discord, with Cam\u2019ron recently discussing Jones\u2019 decision to perform with 50 Cent<\/a> \u2014 Cam\u2019s then-rival \u2014 during their rift. Jones didn\u2019t take kindly to being discussed, telling both Cam and 50 to \u201cget off my d**k,\u201d<\/a> disrupting a decade\u2019s worth of goodwill between them, as the team reconciled many times over the years. Jones\u2019 recent statement aimed at Cam\u2019s It Is What It Is<\/em> co-host Mase also didn\u2019t help matters.<\/a><\/p>\n

While Cam and Jones may be going through a rough patch, we\u2019re choosing to highlight the good ol\u2019 days. Of course, only they know how things were unfolding behind the scenes \u2014 or in this case, photos<\/a> \u2014 but we just can\u2019t help but reminisce on the Dipset we all locked in with over twenty years ago.<\/p>\n
