Vin Diesel and The Rock have buried the hatchet.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFast & Furious\u201d actors \u2014 who first sparked feud rumors in 2016<\/a> \u2014 acknowledged each other\u2019s existence at the Golden Globes 2025<\/a>, hosted by Nikki Glaser<\/a> at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday. <\/p>\n

When Diesel, 57, hit the stage to present an award<\/a>, he playfully gave a shout-out to his longtime frenemy.<\/p>\n

As soon as he reached the microphone, Diesel looked down at The Rock \u2014 real name Dwight Johnson \u2014\u00a0in the audience and said hi before presenting.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, Dwayne,\u201d Diesel stated.<\/p>\n

The Rock chuckled in response as the audience burst out in laughter. The former co-stars exchanged smiles and moved on.<\/p>\n

The Rock\u00a0ignited beef rumors<\/a> when he seemingly referred to unnamed members of the cast as \u201ccandy asses\u201d in a since-deleted social media post.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome [male costars] conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don\u2019t,\u201d he wrote via Instagram in August 2016. \u201cThe ones that don\u2019t are too chicken s \u2013 \u2013 t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I\u2019m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling \u2014 you\u2019re right.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a follow-up post, the \u201cBaywatch\u201d star added, \u201cFamily is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs. To me, conflict can be a good thing, when it\u2019s followed by great resolution. I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Rock added fuel to the feud fire<\/a> after production ended on \u201cThe Fate of the Furious\u201d by sharing another Instagram\u00a0showing gratitude to some of his co-stars, including Scott Eastwood\u00a0and\u00a0Nathalie Emmanuel, but not mentioning Diesel.<\/p>\n

Diesel later promised to expose the drama, stating, \u201cHonestly, give me a second and I will tell you everything. Everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Rock touched on the drama, alleging it was a publicity stunt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been in the game a long time,\u201d he said of the conflict. \u201cWould Universal have preferred that didn\u2019t happen? Sure, we talked about it. The irony is after that and as they do their tracking and all their analysis, the interest shot through the roof to a whole other level.\u201d<\/p>\n

They have since put their differences aside.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way,\u201d Diesel told USA Today<\/a> in 2017. \u201cI think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don\u2019t think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he\u2019s Uncle Dwayne.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also claimed he was the punching bag for the franchise.<\/p>\n
