{"id":819959,"date":"2025-01-15T05:11:30","date_gmt":"2025-01-15T11:11:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2025\/01\/15\/1-5bn-decarbonisation-framework-put-to-market\/"},"modified":"2025-01-15T05:11:30","modified_gmt":"2025-01-15T11:11:30","slug":"1-5bn-decarbonisation-framework-put-to-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2025\/01\/15\/1-5bn-decarbonisation-framework-put-to-market\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00a31.5bn decarbonisation framework put to market"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"wrapper_sleeve\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"620\" height=\"414\" src=\"https:\/\/emap-romulus-prod.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/01\/Insulation_energy-efficiency.jpg\" alt=\"Man fitting insulation\"  ><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Procurement specialist Fusion21 has advertised up to \u00a31.5bn of retrofit and refurbishment work.<\/p>\n<p>The body invited interest in a four-year decarbonisation framework covering homes and public buildings.<\/p>\n<p>Up to 15 contractors will be appointed to the panel to deliver insulation, heating, air conditioning, roofing and a range of other works.<\/p>\n<p>Lot 1 will cover residential properties and is valued at up to \u00a31bn, while Lot 2 will be used for other buildings and is expected to be worth about half as much.<\/p>\n<p>Domestic works will include solid wall, cavity and loft insulation as well as draught-proofing and air-tightness works.<\/p>\n<p>Whole-house refurbishments will be carried out through the framework alongside installation of renewable energy systems such as air source heating.<\/p>\n<p>Replacement jobs will include windows, doors, bathrooms and kitchens.<\/p>\n<p>Companies must have a minimum turnover of \u00a320m to be selected for the framework, along with specified levels of public, employer, professional and product liability cover.<\/p>\n<p>An assessment will be made of the financial viability of each bidding party using statements from Companies House and a third party credit reference agency.<\/p>\n<p>A list of mandatory qualifications and memberships is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.find-tender.service.gov.uk\/Notice\/001058-2025?origin=SearchResults&#038;p=1\">contract notice<\/a>.
