Celeste<\/strong> has shared haunting new song \u2018Everyday\u2019.<\/p>\n The BRIT winning star recently reset the dials with her single \u2018This Is Who I Am\u2019, a sign that a new chapter was under way.<\/p>\n Out now on streaming, \u2018Everyday\u2019 was initially given a vinyl-only release for Record Store Day 2024 but has quickly become a fan favourite. Clips were circulated online, with Celeste stepping in to give the song a full digital release.<\/p>\n Rooted in a sample of Death In Vegas\u2019 epic \u2018Dirge\u2019, the dubby low-end has a hallucinogenic charm. It\u2019s a bad trip, with Celeste\u2019s powerful vocal searching for a way to anchor her life amid intense emotion.<\/p>\n Constructed alongside Zach Nahome, sessions saw Celeste work with Matt Maltese and Maverick Sabre.<\/p>\n Discussing the song, she comments\u2026<\/p>\n It was December 3rd 2022, I was invited out by friends and didn\u2019t really want to go but had the feeling that I should. I ended up going to Boiler Room\u2019s Christmas party at their office in Bethnal Green, feeling a bit lonely, heartbroken and reluctant to engage in any small talk, or flirtatious conversations.<\/em><\/p>\n I went to the dance floor and found myself engulfed in a song that felt familiar but I was unsure if I knew it or where I knew it from.
