A seven-match unbeaten run for Real Betis came to an end on Saturday, but a huge bounce-back opportunity comes midweek in Copa Del Rey action. <\/p>\n

Johnny Cardoso and Real Betis visit Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey Round of 16. Cardoso logged 90 minutes on Saturday as Manuel Pellegrini\u2019s squad suffered a 1-0 league defeat at the hands of Rayo Vallecano. The U.S. men\u2019s national team midfielder remains linked with a potential exit from the club this month, but overall has continued to rack up consistent minutes in the starting lineup. <\/p>\n

Cardoso now has 21 combined appearances under his belt this season and could add to that total at the Camp Nou on Wednesday. Real Betis hasn\u2019t defeated Barcelona since the 2021-22 La Liga campaign, failing to win in each of the last seven head-to-head contests. <\/p>\n
