Central and Eastern Europe-focused omnichannel operator Fortuna Entertainment Group has appointed Dieter John as its new chief executive (CEO) to replace the outgoing Victor Corcoran.<\/strong><\/p>\n John takes on his new role at Fortuna with immediate effect, the group confirmed in a post on LinkedIn<\/a>. He has served as Fortuna\u2019s group chief financial and operations officer since joining the business in March last year.<\/p>\n An experienced executive, John has worked in senior roles across a range of companies during his career. Prior to Fortuna, he was CEO and chairman of real estate company Planet Home Group.<\/p>\n Other positions include executive vice president of Airbus Group and group chief financial officer of Eurocopter Group. He also served as president and CEO of Bombardier Transportation for Central and Eastern Europe and CIS.<\/p>\n \u201cDieter has a deep understanding of our business and has been key in executing our strategy,\u201d Fortuna said. \u201cWith his strong track record in growing and transforming complex international organisations, Dieter is well-equipped to lead us into the next phase of growth and success.\u201d<\/p>\n John is replacing Corcoran, who spent two and a half years as the CEO of Fortuna<\/a>.
