Andy Cohen revealed what it\u2019s really <\/em>like co-hosting CNN\u2019s New Year\u2019s Eve celebration alongside Anderson Cooper.<\/p>\n

The Bravo executive said that the \u201cmost annoying\u201d part of hosting the event from New York City\u2019s Time Square is that Cooper can get the \u201cgiggles\u201d toward the end of the night.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, [it\u2019s] that I have to be the straight guy,\u201d Cohen recently told People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cLiterally, he\u2019s in a puddle of giggles for the last 90 minutes of the broadcast, and I\u2019m the one that\u2019s hitting all the commercial breaks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooper \u2014 who has been a part of CNN since 2001 \u2014 will return with Cohen to co-host the special for their eighth consecutive year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI kind of turn into Mr. CNN for the last 90 minutes, and he turns into Mr. Bravo,\u201d Cohen, 56, said of his longtime pal.<\/p>\n

Cohen \u2014 who has been with Bravo since 2004 \u2014 went on to call the end of their NYE bash a \u201cvery funny role reversal.\u201d<\/p>\n

A few days before, Cooper appeared on \u201cWatch What Happens Live\u201d and revealed his pet peeve when it comes to co-hosting the NYE broadcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust who he\u2019s gonna insult and what the clean up on aisle 3 is gonna be in the morning,\u201d the journalist, 57, said on the Dec. 16 episode<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFair!\u201d Cohen replied to Cooper\u2019s comment.<\/p>\n

The duo has been promoting their return as co-hosts to CNN\u2019s extravaganza via social media<\/a> with several comedic skits.<\/p>\n

In mid-December, Cohen roasted Cooper for previously being hit with debris while covering a hurricane for CNN.<\/p>\n

Cohen joked that he and Cooper need to be \u201cready\u201d for New Year\u2019s Eve and any possible weather conditions.<\/p>\n
