His music was even banned from state radio, yet he continued to thrive, proving that authenticity resonates with audiences.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe music that people attacked me for made me more successful,\u201d he famously <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.almasryalyoum.com\/news\/details\/3341274\"><span>remarked<\/span><\/a><span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Adaweyah\u2019s influence extended beyond music. He appeared in around 27 films.
