\n\tMichelle Buteau<\/a> slammed Dave Chappelle<\/a> and his controversial jokes about the transgender community in her new comedy special \u201cMichelle Buteau: A Buteau-ful Mind at Radio City Music Hall,\u201d which debuted Tuesday on Netflix.<\/p>\n \n\tButeau began criticizing Chappelle after telling a story about her \u201cBlack lesbian friend.\u201d She noted the subject matter elicited a spectrum of reactions from the crowd, with some laughing and some uncomfortable, but emphasized that comedians should be able \u201cto tell jokes and stories and not disparage a whole community.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe can do that. We can make it funny,\u201d Buteau said. \u201cWe just have to work at it, right? So, if you ever run into Dave Chappelle can you let him know that shit? I don\u2019t think he knows that shit.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tButeau then facetiously referred to Chappelle as \u201cthe GOAT,\u201d an acronym usually meaning \u201cgreatest of all time.\u201d However, Buteau said in Chappelle\u2019s case, \u201cGOAT\u201d means \u201cgoing off on trans people.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI can\u2019t believe somebody would make millions and millions of dollars for making people feel unsafe. That is so wild to me, truly,\u201d Buteau continued. \u201cI\u2019m manifesting this shit tonight.
