Photo by Icon Sport<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to reports from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.footmercato.net\/a1010631492241313392-monaco-connait-le-prix-a-payer-pour-mika-biereth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Foot Mercato<\/a>, Monaco are keen to secure Biereth\u2019s services after their key forward, Folarin Balogun, suffered an injury.<\/p>\n<p>Biereth, 21, has been in scintillating form since joining Sturm Graz from Arsenal last summer for \u20ac5 million, netting 14 goals in 25 games. <\/p>\n<p>Monaco and Biereth have reportedly reached personal terms, but the Austrian club\u2019s hefty \u20ac20 million asking price has stalled negotiations.<\/p>\n<p>In light of the impasse, Monaco have turned their attention to Arokodare, who is enjoying a prolific season with Genk in the Belgian Pro League. <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_145293\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-145293\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/soccernet.ng\/app\/uploads\/2024\/12\/ICONSPORT_247941_0036.jpg\" alt=\"Soccer Nigeria and Genk star Tolu Arokodare\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\"  ><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-145293\">Genk\u2019s Tolu Toluwalase Arokodare celebrates during a soccer match between Royal Antwerp FC and KRC Genk, Thursday 26 December 2024 in Antwerp. Photo by Icon Sport<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 24-year-old Nigerian has registered 14 goals and six assists in 22 matches across all competitions, making him one of the most sought-after goalscorers in Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>Reports suggest Genk could be open to selling Arokodare for around \u20ac15 million\u2014three times the fee they paid to acquire him from Amiens in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Arokodare\u2019s contributions have propelled Genk to the summit of the Jupiler Pro League and caught the attention of several clubs, including Monaco.<\/p>\n<p>The report notes that Monaco have already initiated discussions with Arokodare\u2019s representatives.
