Mohamed Salah has provided his reaction after moving into fourth place on the all-time Liverpool scoring chart \u2013 before being pressed once again about his future.<\/p>\n

Salah is showing no sign of being affected by his ongoing contract situation. On Sunday evening, he scored two goals and assisted two others in Liverpool\u2019s 6-3 win over Tottenham.<\/p>\n

It means he has overtaken Billy Liddell on Liverpool\u2019s all-time top scorers chart, now in fourth place on 229 goals.\u00a0Ian Rush is still way out in front on 346, but there is every chance Salah<\/a> could climb onto the podium by catching 241-goal Gordon Hodgson in third place by the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Will he go any further, though? Salah is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave on a free transfer in the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n

Reacting to his latest milestone, though, Salah was giving nothing away about his future and insisted he will be proud of whatever his final goal tally for Liverpool<\/a> is.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know how he scored that many goals, to be fair,\u201d Salah laughed about Rush in an interview with\u00a0Sky Sports<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that the football in that time was quite seven-against-seven, it wasn\u2019t really 11 against 11!<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he\u2019s a great legend for the club and we have a good contact, so wherever I\u2019m going to end my career on I\u2019m happy about it. So let\u2019s see.\u201d<\/p>\n

The interview concluded with a question to see if there was any update on his contract situation, but Salah simply said: \u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n

Will Salah stay or go?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In less than a couple of weeks\u2019 time, Salah will be eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with any foreign club. He has been linked with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Barcelona and his long-term admirers in the Saudi Pro League.<\/p>\n

But reports have recently indicated a rising confidence that Salah will sign a new deal with Liverpool<\/a> after dropping his wage demands.<\/p>\n

Salah is currently the highest-paid player in the Liverpool squad and the club will have to weigh up the length of the deal he wants and the money he would earn from it.<\/p>\n

TEAMtalk sources have insisted Salah is aiming to stay at Liverpool, but there will be much speculation until anything is agreed.<\/p>\n

In other news, Salah\u2019s two teammates in the same contract position \u2013 Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk \u2013 have both been linked with Real Madrid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alexander-Arnold has long since been known to be on Real\u2019s radar, but now Van Dijk could have a chance of filling a centre-back vacancy for Los Blancos too.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, elsewhere in Spain, Martin Zubimendi has shed more light on his rejection of a transfer to Liverpool<\/a>\u00a0in favour of staying at Real Sociedad.<\/p>\n

And there have been claims that Liverpool could launch a move for a Barcelona midfielder<\/a>.<\/p>\n
