Musician Mkhonzeni “Professor” Langa said his time to dominate the music industry has passed and it’s now time for others to do the same.<\/p>\n
This after social media users complained that the festive season is not like it used to be with hit songs from Professor and Big Nuz.<\/p>\n
The 45-year-old Professor from Durban, KZN was popular for hit songs such as Jezebel<\/em>, Lento<\/em> and Imoto.<\/em><\/p>\n Professor said it’s good that people still remember the time he dominated the music industry.<\/p>\n ALSO READ |\u00a0Heartbreak inspires Uwineza\u2019s album<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI believe that music is evolving and there’ll always be something new. We had an amazing time, and people must understand that we will not always be on top of the game, but we must give others a chance to shine.<\/p>\n \u201cNow is the chance for other artists who are doing well in the music industry. We must give them a chance because it’s their time. It will not always be about us in the music industry,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Professor is preparing to release his eight-track EP, titled\u00a0Mkhonzeni<\/em> in January 2025, which featured many musicians.<\/p>\n He said knowing people still love and remember his music encourages him to make more songs.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI feel good that I\u2019m still alive and people still love my music.
