It\u2019s basically like going to war every game, but we\u2019ll put up a fight and try and see what we can do. Photo by IMAGO\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The qualifiers will then pause before resuming in late summer, with Nigeria facing a challenging run of fixtures against South Africa, Lesotho, and Benin, along with a return encounter against Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>With only the group leaders guaranteed an automatic spot to the World Cup, the pressure is on Nigeria but Iwobi is confident in the quality of the squad, even as the team remains without a substantive head coach. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll never use it as an excuse because we can only hold ourselves accountable as players,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo matter what manager comes into play, essentially it\u2019s down to us as players to give 100%. We\u2019ve got the quality, we all play in various high leagues across Europe.
