A 31-year-old pregnant woman<\/a> on Friday died of heart attack during delivery at Patangshah Cottage Hospital in Palghar’s Jawhar, reported PTI.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kunta Vaibhav Padvale was nine-month-pregnant and hailed from Galtare village in Vikramgad taluka. She was rushed to a local hospital on Tuesday night after she went into labour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to the Medical Superintendent Bharat Mahale of the Jawhar hospital, the tribal woman<\/a> was alright but suffered a heart attack during delivery and died. The doctors tried to save the baby but could not, he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The body has been sent for post-mortem, he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Woman jumps from moving auto in Bengaluru:<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, in another report, a woman jumped from a moving autorickshaw to save herself from the drunk driver on Thursday night in Bengaluru.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As per the survivor\u2019s husband, she booked an autorickshaw from Horamavu to Thanisandra on ride-hailing application \u2018Namma Yatri\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cNamma Yatri Auto Issue! My wife booked a auto from Horamavu to Thanisandra, Bangalore, but the driver was drunk and took her towards the wrong location near Hebbal. Despite repeatedly asking him to stop, he didn\u2019t listen, forcing her to jump out of the moving auto,\u201d the husband posted on \u2018X\u2019 on Friday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He complained that Namma Yatri has no customer care number to contact in the event of emergency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cThe biggest shortcoming of \u2018Namma Yatri\u2019 service is that there is no customer support. It asks us to \u201cwait for 24 hours.\u201d How is it possible to wait 24 hours in an emergency? How is the safety of the woman?\u201d he asked the Bengaluru police.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Responding to the complaint, Namma Yatri said, \u201cHi Azhar, we’re sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused to your wife, and we hope she\u2019s doing fine now. Please DM us the ride details, and we\u2019ll make sure to look into this promptly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
