Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze could miss out on a potential transfer to Arsenal following an injury he suffered in AC Milan\u2019s 1-1 draw against Roma on Sunday, Soccernet.ng<\/a> reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chukwueze has been heavily linked with former English Premier League champions Arsenal in recent weeks. The Gunners are desperately in search of a right winger following a hamstring injury to England international Bukayo Saka.<\/p>\n

The explosive 23-year-old winger has undergone surgery and is expected to be out of action until late February or March.<\/p>\n

Chukwueze, who has failed to make a big mark at AC Milan has been linked with the Gunners. However, Arsenal may now have to look elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Arsenal have identified Samuel Chukwueze as a potential target as they look to cover for the injured Bukayo Saka.<\/p>\n

The AC Milan winger is understood to be available for \u20ac20m.<\/p>\n

This is as the Super Eagles star sustained an injury in Milan\u2019s 1-1 draw against Roma on Sunday. Chukwueze went down, clutching his thigh, something usually indicative of a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n

He is set to undergo tests to ascertain the extent of the injury. But if the injury is confirmed, Chukwueze would spend some weeks on the sidelines.<\/a><\/p>\n

It could also put paid to the 25-year-old forward\u2019s chances of making a move to Arsenal during the January transfer window, as he would obviously fail his medical. Also, the Gunners need a quick fix and would not want to risk taking a player that would be unable to play for at least the first three weeks of January.<\/p>\n

Unless, it is confirmed to be a slight knock, Chukwueze would have to remain in Milan until the end of the season.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
