Super Eagles defender Ola Aina has named Arsenal star Bukayo Saka as the best player in the English Premier League, Soccernet.ng<\/a> reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This season the Premier League has provided a lot of excitement, with some players setting the pitch alight with some breath-taking performances.<\/p>\n

Liverpool sit at the top of the standings, with 39 points after 16 games. The Reds have taken advantage of Manchester City\u2019s curious slump and look very good to reclaim the Premier League title.<\/p>\n

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has been the engine room for them, producing 15 goals and 11 assists in 16 games, the highest across Europe.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, defending champions Manchester City have struggled badly this season. They started the campaign on a high, but they have tailed off since the end of October, winning just one of their last 12 games. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has registered just 13 goals and one assist.<\/p>\n

Nottingham Forest have had a decent campaign<\/a> this season, with stars like Chris Wood and Anthony Elanga producing some impressive performances.<\/p>\n

But despite the impressive performances from these players, Nigerian star Aina who has been a consistent performer for the Tricky Trees this season, sees Arsenal star Bukayo Saka as the best player in the Premier League this season.<\/p>\n

Recall that when Arsenal defeated Nottingham Forest 3-0 earlier this season. And apparently, Saka left a big impression on Aina.<\/p>\n
