Minister of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services Tatenda Mavetera attended a church service at Mutumwa Paul Mwazha\u2019s African Apostolic Church in Chivhu on Saturday.<\/p>\n

She shared pictures of her attending the service clad in a white gown and head wrap that has become synonymous with the church.<\/p>\n

ICT Minister Tatenda Mavetera Reveals Her Reason For Visiting Mapostori<\/h2>\n

In one of the photos, she can be seen kneeling with her hands clasped while three of the church\u2019s priests stretch their hands above her. As a Member of Parliament for Chikomba West, she also visited other churches in her constituency.<\/p>\n

Minister Mavetera described her visits to two local churches as part of an engagement initiative.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday was a fulfilling day in my constituency as I engaged with various communities, witnessing the power of faith, innovation, and collective action in building a brighter Zimbabwe,\u201d she shared on her Facebook page.<\/em><\/p>\n

Her itinerary included two church visits in her constituency. In Chivhu, she joined the African Apostolic Church for a spiritual service honouring Mutumwa Paul Mwazha, who turned 106 this year. She highlighted the emotional moment of singing Hymn 100, \u201cIshe Taungana Muno Mumba Mako,\u201d<\/em> calling it a heartfelt experience.<\/p>\n

Advocating for Change<\/h2>\n

The minister also attended a 14-day Gender-Based Violence program in Beatrice, partnering with organizations committed to promoting safety, equality, and empowerment.<\/p>\n

To cap off her day, she visited the AFM in Zimbabwe church, where she was inspired by their vision of constructing a digitalized conference centre. She emphasized how this aligns with her ministry\u2019s focus on technological advancement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI ended the day with a visit to AFM in Zimbabwe, inspired by their vision to build a Digitalized Conference Centre, aligning with our goals for technological innovation. I am grateful for the prayers, support, and shared dedication to progress. Together, we can achieve greatness for Zimbabwe,\u201d she said.<\/em><\/p>\n
