\n\t\u201cSaturday Night Live<\/a>\u2018s\u201d cold open took direct aim at the internet obsession about Luigi Mangione, the alleged killer of the United HealthCare CEO Brian Thompson with a sketch that featured Sarah Sherman as true crime maven Nancy Grace.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cY\u2019all psychos find him a sex symbol,\u201d Sherman as Grace told the audience in diving into the shocking story of the brazen Dec. 4 slaying in Manhattan of Thompson walked to an investor conference. With over-the-top tabloid delivery Grace observed that Mangione \u201chas women and gay guys hot and bothered,\u201d describing him as \u201cDave Franco with Eugene Levy\u2019s eyebrows.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKenan Thompson appeared later in the sketch as a man on the street who happened to encounter the killer. Interviewing him at the McDonald\u2019s where the alleged killer was caught, Grace asked Thompson\u2019s character \u201ccan you believe people were attracted to this sexy slayer?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTo which Thompson replied, \u201cWomen love bad boys.\u201d He also referenced the alleged manifesto against the health care industry that Mangione is alleged to have written and made available online. \u201cBack in the day, you could impress women with a little poem. Now you have to write a manifesto.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cold open also poked fun at the experience of watching a video on YouTube when a jarring ad break hits mid-sentence. Sherman\u2019s Grace warned viewers that she might be interrupted at any more \u201cby ab insanely loud ad\u201d and then, of course, the scene jumped to \u201cSNL\u201d cast member Marcello Hernandez delivering a rapid-fire exercise machine pitch.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrace\u2019s other guest was played by Emil Wakim, a man who looks like Mangione. \u201cI\u2019ve gotten some of the horniest DMs in my life,\u201d the Wakim character said.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cold open is a staple of \u201cSNL\u201d and it\u2019s often a vehicle for celebrity cameos. This past week, Dana Carvey<\/a>\u2018s Church Lady character returned to the \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d Cold Open segment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier in the season, for the Season 50 premiere cold open, Maya Rudolph<\/a> portrayed Democratic Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris alongside James Austin Johnson as Donald Trump, Bowen Yang as JD Vance, Jim Gaffigan as Tim Walz, Andy Samberg<\/a> as Doug Emhoff and Carvey as Joe Biden. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
