On Monday (Dec. 9), Summer Walker<\/a> announced the imminent launch of her \u201cOver It Radio,\u201d set to debut its very first episode exclusively on Apple Music on Friday (Dec. 13) at 11 a.m. PT.<\/p>\n Accompanying the reveal, the \u201cGirls Need Love\u201d singer shared a trailer in which she recreated looks from the album covers of 2019\u2019s Over It<\/a><\/em> and 2021\u2019s Still Over It<\/em>. \u201cWhile you were sitting there waiting on Ciara\u2019s prayer, he was over there being unloyal,\u201d Walker said to another version of herself.<\/p>\n The artist then interjected, \u201cLadies, I\u2019m finally over it, so let\u2019s talk about it.\u201d Across the six episodes, she\u2019ll be discussing relationships and motherhood, among the many other challenges women face. The first guest will be Sexyy Red<\/a>, with whom Walker previously collaborated on \u201cSense dat God gave you\u201d and \u201cI Might.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy vision for \u2018Over It Radio\u2019 is to create a safe space where I can own my own narrative and provide a platform for the women I admire in the entertainment industry to do the same. We discuss the topics that matter to them without any hidden agendas,\u201d Walker said via Apple Music\u2019s landing page<\/a> for the show.<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cListeners can look forward to hearing powerful, accomplished women celebrating their successes, sharing their frustrations about what they\u2019re ready to move on from, and keeping it real about the challenges they face as women, mothers and entrepreneurs.\u201d<\/p>\n The announcement for \u201cOver It Radio\u201d arrived in the lead-up to Walker\u2019s forthcoming third studio album, Finally Over<\/em> It. She teased the project with \u201cHeart Of A Woman<\/a>\u201d in October. Its lyric video boasted cameos from \u201cLove Island USA\u201d season six winners Kordell Beckham and Serena Page.<\/p>\n The forthcoming LP will mark the Atlanta singer-songwriter’s first full-length project since Still Over It<\/a><\/em>, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard<\/em> 200 chart.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
