But I told myself, \u2018How weird that the director doesn\u2019t speak English or Spanish and the movie is in Spanish and English, and it takes place in Mexico and you don\u2019t understand the culture.\u2019 It\u2019s like if I made a film in Russian without knowing the culture or speaking Russian and talk in French.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAfter someone clipped that part of the interview and shared it on TikTok, it got to Gomez\u2019s eyes, who replied to the post saying, \u201cI understand where you are coming from.
