Influencer Haliey Welch, better known as the \u201cHawk Tuah\u201d girl, has launched her latest attempt to cash in on her fame: a cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Welch launched<\/a><\/span> the Hawk Tuah (HAWK) meme coin on the Solana (SOL<\/a><\/span>) blockchain, which she told Fortune<\/a><\/span> ahead of the debut, \u201cis not a cash grab.\u201d Memecoins<\/a><\/span>, like HAWK, are cryptocurrencies that are based on viral memes, trends, and pop culture references, such as Dogecoin and Pepecoin. <\/p>\n
