However, Nwakaeme was denied the chance to claim all three points for the home team as Nuno da Costa struck in stoppage time to secure a share of the spoils for the visitors.<\/p>\n
Still, Nwakaeme would be pleased with his first league goal for Trabzonspor since his return to the club in the summer.<\/p>\n
Nwakaeme\u2019s strike against Kasimpasa is his first goal in 929 days for Trabzonspor with his previous one coming in a 3-1 defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir on May 22, 2022.<\/p>\n
That result was one of only three losses Trabzonspor suffered that season as Nwakaeme guided the club to a memorable league title.<\/p>\n
However, the former Hapoel Be\u2019er Sheva attacker left Trabzon at the end of the 2021\/2022 season after failing to secure a new contract with the champions.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, after two years in Saudi Arabia with Al Fayha, where he scored 13 league goals in 45 games, Nwakaeme returned to Trabzonspor in June on a free transfer.<\/p>\n
The 35-year-old forward has battled with a recurring muscle injury since his return and has struggled to rediscover his best form.<\/p>\n
Trabzonspor will hope the good days are back for Nwakaeme as the club needs inspiration following a sluggish start to the campaign.<\/p>\n
\u015eenol G\u00fcne\u015f\u2019s men have only won three of their first 14 league games and sit in 12th position with 16 points, four points above the relegation zone.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
