Super Eagles and Bayer 04 Leverkusen attacker, Nathan Tella, has heaped praise on Bayern Munich\u2019s head coach, Vincent Kompany, for the way he has heralded the record Bundesliga champions this season, Soccernet.ng<\/a> reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n Kompany joined the Bavarian giants after relegating Burnley from the English Premier League last season, replacing Thomas Tuchel in the Bayern dugout.<\/p>\n Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga table heading into Christmas, a situation that wasn\u2019t the same last season, as Xabi Alonso\u2019s side were at the top of the summit at the end of the Hinr\u00fcnde.<\/p>\n Nathan Tella came off the bench in Bayer 04 Leverkusen\u2019s win over Kompany\u2019s side last night, scoring the only goal of the game, heading into the back of the net from an Alejandro Grimaldo cross.<\/p>\n After the game at the Allianz Arena, Tella and Kompany engaged in a warm embrace, sharing smiles following their re-union despite being on opposing sides. Nonetheless, the Nigerian was full of praise for his former boss.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s done an incredible job since he\u2019s been there. He\u2019s changed the dynamic of the team. They\u2019re in a better place now than they were last season.<\/p>\n They\u2019ve been a really strong team, and I\u2019m happy to win and to see him, but more importantly, the team\u2019s good result today,\u201d the 25-year-old said to ESPN<\/a><\/strong> following Leverkusen\u2019s 1-0 win against Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Tella and Kompany worked together at Burnley, winning the EFL Championships together.
