A noted journalist, Brendan Tobin recently spoke with Butler and initially asked him about his thoughts on Mourning being excited about the New York Knicks<\/a> vs Miami Heat<\/a> rivalry getting renewed again. The 33-year-old said he is keeping his attitude the same as it was before and looking forward to competing and picking up wins as they probably have a chance of winning the title this year. Following this, the interviewer asked him about his thoughts on the Heat legend calling him his hero.<\/p>\n

Butler responded by saying, \u201cI think that was a spur of the moment, I ain\u2019t nobody\u2019s hero. I\u2019m just a decent basketball player that\u2019s so fortunate to put on a Heat uniform and compete with these teammates and those historic players and HOFers we\u2019ve had.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Though it\u2019s not easy to remain calm after receiving praise from not only fans but these kinds of legends, Butler is seemingly trying to control his emotions as much as possible. It seems like the 33-year-old is only focusing on today\u2019s game against the Knicks and would start only expressing his emotions after getting his hands on the coveted gold trophy.<\/p>\n
