\nAstragon Entertainment, a division of Team 17, announced that it has acquired games studio Independent Arts Software.\n<\/p>\n

\nFounded in 1990 and based in Germany, Independent Arts has co-developed titles such as Fox n Forests, Horse Farm, and Rail World. The firm brings with it years of experience in porting titles as well.\n<\/p>\n

\nWith the acquisition, Astragon intends to expand the development of new and existing IPs for its games portfolio.\n<\/p>\n

\nIndependent Arts founder and CEO Holger Kuchling will continue overseeing business operations in the same role.\n<\/p>\n
