Sofia Richie married Elliot Grainge<\/a> in the South of France on Saturday, April 22 after getting engaged exactly one year ago<\/a>. The 24-year-old model and daughter of Lionel Richie<\/a> invited guests to H\u00f4tel du Cap-Eden-Roc, where they gathered as early as Tuesday to begin celebrations. Unsurprisingly, Richie pulled out all the stops for her bridal wardrobe, which was curated by Liat Baruch<\/a>. She worked with Chanel’s atelier on a string of three custom wedding dresses for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and afterparty. While sunbathing and enjoying time at the resort earlier in the week, Richie teased her Chanel gown with an assortment of accessories from the French fashion house, which finished the likes of dresses from Proenza Schouler and Khaite.<\/p>\n

For her walk down the aisle, Richie chose a lace-embroidered halter-style dress with a long train. Subtle details included a heart to represent her love for Grainge and “S&E” stitched above her heart on the interior of the design. “Working with Chanel was not only an honor but a true dream of mine. Having the opportunity to create this dress and work so closely with Madame Olivia Douchez, premi\u00e8re of haute couture salons, and observing their art and immaculate attention to detail was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Richie told Vogue<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, her rehearsal number was entirely hand-beaded and based off a look worn by Stella Tennant in a 1997 runway show. It was accessorized by a pair of diamond earrings made specially by sister Nicole Richie<\/a> for her brand House of Harlow 1960. The bustier-style minidress she danced in at the reception was inspired by a ’90s Claudia Schiffer moment, and finished with Jimmy Choo Love pumps. Richie opted for a clean beauty look<\/a> and supermodel manicure<\/a> that was both timeless and classic, and she wore jewelry from Kwait and Fred Leighton with her gown and minidress, respectively. Throughout the evening, Richie and her bridal party (wearing all-black) posed for portraits taken by German Larkin<\/a>, a renowned photographer who has worked on some of Hollywood’s biggest red carpet events. <\/p>\n

Of course, there were various pops of blue woven throughout Richie’s wardrobe, courtesy of her Olivia Von Halle bridal pajamas and a Khaite maxi. Baruch’s personal favorite ensemble from the whole weekend was for a day trip to Antibes: a Chanel two-piece with black trim styled over a bikini top. That evening, she sported a Proenza Schouler halter-style crochet maxi with “something blue” stripes, finished with an Herm\u00e8s Kelly mini bag in a pop of pink. Of course, she also sported her engagement ring<\/a> with every outfit \u2014 a notable emerald-cut diamond set in platinum.<\/p>\n
