Love after the final rose. Ashley Hebert<\/strong><\/a> started dating Yanni Georgoulakis<\/a><\/strong> following her divorce<\/a> from J.P. Rosenbaum<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The season 7 Bachelorette couple, who wed in December 2012<\/a>, share son Fordham and daughter Essex. They confirmed their split in October 2020, but Rosenbaum told Us Weekly<\/em> that things were rocky for the pair before the news was made public.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt had been ongoing for longer than, obviously, people knew about,\u201d Rosenbaum said on Us<\/em>\u2018 \u201cHere for the Right Reasons\u201d podcast<\/a> in April 2022 of announcing their breakup. \u201cThe post, the notification to the rest of the world \u2014 it was just a formality for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

In their respective statements at the time<\/a>, he wrote that he felt a \u201clevel of disbelief and extreme sadness,\u201d but made it clear that there was \u201cno one to blame\u201d and \u201cthere\u2019s no event that triggered this decision.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve done absolutely everything we possibly can to try to salvage this marriage,\u201d he wrote via Instagram. \u201cI think we\u2019ve both come to realize that we are just two very different people, with very different personalities and perspectives, who just don\u2019t see eye to eye on a lot [of] life fundamentals, those which are the building blocks for a happy and healthy marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hebert, for her part, wrote in part: \u201cWe created the most beautiful children and shared memories that will never be forgotten. Our differences have taken a toll on our relationship and after years of attempting to repair the damage, we\u2019ve decided that it is in our family\u2019s best interest to create new and separate lives for our children.\u201d<\/p>\n

The twosome, who live in Miami, finalized their divorce in October 2021. That same month, Hebert revealed that she had been seeing someone<\/a>. The former ABC star noted that she didn\u2019t have any interest in walking down the aisle again, however.<\/p>\n

\u201cMarriage complicates things,\u201d she wrote via Instagram at the time. \u201cI\u2019d rather just love someone and choose to be with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Months later, Us<\/em> broke the news that her beau is Foody Fetish founder Georgoulakis. Rosenbaum told Us<\/em> that he hadn\u2019t met his ex\u2019s boyfriend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t met him, but I know of him and about him from her. She\u2019s living her life and if she\u2019s happy that\u2019s what matters,\u201d he said, noting that he was single. \u201cDating in my mid-forties as a divorced father of two is just way different than dating, you know, single in my early thirties. \u2026 I know the connection that I\u2019m looking for because I\u2019ve had it. I know what it feels like. And I wanna feel that again. There\u2019s the challenge of, \u2018Does she have kids? Does she not have kids? Does she want kids? Do I want more kids?\u2019 There\u2019s that dynamic that you have to work through, but I do know the connection that I\u2019m looking for. During an Instagram Q&A, Hebert couldn’t pick just one of her favorite qualities about Georgoulakis. “He’s so calm and kinda quiet and mysterious … and very understanding and kind,” she wrote. “We also both love having fun and being silly. On our last trip we legitimately laughed 75 percent of the time … belly laughs. And he always brings me food unannounced and it’s very cute. And he is just drop dead gorgeous. Green eyes … tall … xlarge … he’s perfect. He’s also one of those guys that if you vocalize that something is bothering you he is very attentive and will do anything he can to help make it better.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
