Smurfs NFT Collection Launches<\/span><\/h2>\n

Blue-skinned legends The Smurfs made their NFT bow this week when an NFT collection called <\/span>The Smurfs\u2019 Society Legendary Collection was released<\/span><\/a>. According to its creators, the collection is supported by a \u201ccollective of Web 3.0 builders\u201d and is among the cartoon\u2019s first steps into the blockchain world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Smurfs\u2019 Society Legendary Collection, which has a total of 12,500 collectables with different traits and rarity ratings and features 250 distinct Smurfs, held a 48-hour \u201cthe bucket auction\u201d this week for the first 3,000 up for sale.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jeremy Cowart to Hold Live Mass NFT Mint<\/span><\/h2>\n

Popular photographer Jeremy Cowart this week <\/span>announced plans<\/span><\/a> to create 10,000 photo NFTs live in 20 minutes. Cowart will shoot unique photos before a live audience and instantly convert them to digital collectables at a time when computer programs are beginning to create generative artworks in seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event, dubbed Auras, will take place early next month in Nashville, Tennessee and comes less than a week after camera giant Canon announced an Ethereum NFT marketplace dedicated to photographers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sotheby\u2019s to Sell Rare 3AC NFTs<\/span><\/h2>\n

Sotheby\u2019s this week revealed plans to <\/span>auction rare artworks<\/span><\/a> seized from bankrupt hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC). 3AC liquidator Teneo disclosed that they chose to conduct the sale through Sotheby\u2019s because of the auction house\u2019s international reputation, hoping that it will help attract the best prices for the digital artworks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teneo disclosed plans to liquidate 3AC\u2019s NFT stash in February, although it stated that the collectables marked for liquidation don\u2019t include those held by 3AC\u2019s subsidiary Starry Night Capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
