The lights are back on in Studio 8H.<\/p>\n

When Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/em> returned for season 48 of the Emmy<\/a>-winning NBC sketch show, some things looked a little different. At the end of the previous season, SNL<\/em> said goodbye to longtime cast members Pete Davidson<\/a>, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Kyle Mooney<\/a>, and over the summer the show announced that Melissa Villase\u00f1or, Alex Moffat, Aristotle Athari,<\/a> and Chris Redd<\/a> also would not return. Later, Cecily Strong also announced her exit<\/a> after the Christmas show. To fill some gaps, season 48 welcomed four new featured players<\/a>: Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, and Devon Walker. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
